Por Vida is a contemporary take on the Day of The Dead. Inspired by this deeply symbolic holiday, Por Vida incorporates art, music, installation spaces, a Wall of Remembrance, food and drink. Por Vida is a unique event to Columbus, Ohio. With the support of local sponsors, we combine an atmosphere of respect, honor, and festivity to the notion of loss and mourning. It’s an event to remember those we have lost, and celebrate our good fortune of having had the experience of these special people in our lives. Guests arrive in unique and themed costumes, lend their stories, notes and photos for the Wall of Remembrance, dance and enjoy the presence of one another amidst fine art, music, and installation spaces in an overall visually colorful and positive atmosphere.
